Mrs. Anna Griffith, CEO & Co-Founder
Mrs. Anna Griffith is the Co-Founder and CEO of Discovery Machine, Inc., where she leads efforts to help people transfer their experience through innovative technology. With a strong background in cognitive science and artificial intelligence, Anna has developed cutting-edge products that utilize virtual simulation to capture and deploy expertise. She created the Discovery Machine knowledge capture methodology and played a key role in the development of the company’s commercial software solutions. Anna’s work focuses on enabling organizations to make better decisions and take effective action by leveraging human expertise. Her mission is to advance methods and technologies that transform how knowledge is shared and training is conducted. Currently, she continues to push the boundaries of knowledge transfer through simulation-based innovation.

Todd W. Griffith, Ph.D., CTO & Co-Founder
Dr. Todd Griffith is the co-founder and CTO of Discovery Machine®, Inc., where he oversees funding, knowledge engineering, and the development of AI products. With 25 years in AI research, he has extensively published in cognitive science, human-computer interaction, and intelligent systems, regularly presenting at conferences since 1996. Dr. Griffith's research centers on neuro-symbolic approaches to mental models. His work in Applied AI Engineering has resulted in patented software for capturing expertise and deploying it in virtual instructors, intelligent teammates, and decision-support agents. He also developed the Multi-level Universal Specification for Intelligent Constructs (MUSIC), an open standard for seamless AI system integration. His specialties include Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Knowledge Capture, Knowledge Engineering, and Agent-based Systems.

Mr. Jay Potts, VP of Development
Mr. Jay Potts is a seasoned technology executive with nearly 20 years of experience in project management, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. Mr. Potts holds a Computer Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. With a lifelong passion for Artificial Intelligence and gaming dating back to the 1980s, Jay has leveraged his expertise to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology. Outside of work, he is an avid gardener specializing in edible plants and a dedicated cat owner.
