Discovery Machine’s President to Speak at Federal Consortium for Virtual Worlds Conference

Dr. Todd Griffith, President and founder of Discovery Machine Inc., is scheduled to speak at the Federal Consortium for Virtual Worlds Conference to be held April 23-24.  This conference is designed to educate attendees about current capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in computer programs, and to enlighten them about possible future applications of AI technology.  Other speakers which will join Dr. Griffith in speaking include Dr. Mark Phillips, Dr. Michael Van Lent, and Dr. Ben Goertzel.  These speakers have expertise in a variety of areas of AI application and will provide different viewpoints on how AI can be best utilized now and in the future.

This engagement will be a panel discussion followed by a question and answer session.  The panel is designed to discuss the vision of AI in the next 10-15 years.  This will be completed from the perspective of the entire community.  Some of the topics of discussion include when and if intelligent BOTS should be used, where BOTS can be used, how to measure progress, and how to determine the optimal level of AI.  The experts will be presented with these issues and asked to state their personal opinions and debate with each other about the topics.  After this, attendees will have the opportunity to ask whatever questions they desire.

This event is a great opportunity for Discovery Machine to educate the community about Artificial Intelligence application.  Discovery Machine’s modeling software is artificial intelligence in an accessible form.   With their methodology, Discovery Machine captures the knowledge of company experts and automatically deploys that knowledge throughout a system.  By demonstrating the importance of AI technology, Discovery Machine will create an increased desire for AI technology in the community and provide future growth opportunities for Discovery Machine.
